LIONS AMONG US

Our current lion exhibit dates back to 1988 and needs to be brought to the same level of excellence as our more recent and world-renowned projects. Winding between the cheetah and baboon habitats, a dry stream bed will enter a gap between two boulders and then continue underground. Visitors who follow the stream will find themselves in a hidden tunnel under the rocks that offers an amazing view into the lions’ world—right at “prey level.” Other portals into the lions’ habitat will allow closer viewing than ever before of our amazing African lions—one of the world’s most impressive predators.
